In 2004 Flamingo Recordings was established as a Dutch independent record label by the artists Funkerman, Fedde Le Grand and producer Raf. Their aim was to create a platform on which they could find a way to release their tracks without compromises. They wanted to create House 'a la Flamingo' taking no 'shhh' from any A&R. In a short period of time they established themselves in the international label and music scene with surprising releases signed over the world by the biggest record companies.

After a few good releases they struck gold with the first version of Fedde Le Grands "Put your hands up for Detroit'. Already a few succesfull records further down the line, more & more charts are filled with their bangers all around the world!

Flamingo's future plans are exciting. Of course they will continue producing tracks that are fresh as they can be, with a new and always improving sound, appealing a large group of people without losing it's underground identity! Therefore the Flamingo artists are looking for collaborations worldwide with the best artists from various genres.

As an important communicator for their music the Flamingo Events will play a more and more important role in the nearby future. After some succesfull tryouts in Amsterdam and Miami the first big and special Flamingo kickoff event is a fact.

The special character of the evening will be emphasized by the album presentation of the brand new album from headman Fedde Le Grand. Together with most of the artists and vocalists with who he produced his album he will have a special live performance and presenting an exclusive set afterwards.
