Its already been 5 years before Flamingo Recordings saw the day of light. In this short period of time the label has made quite a name for itself, releasing hits as “Put Your Hands Up For Detroit, Take No Shh!, Speed Up, Let Me Think About it, The One, Remember and 3 Minutes to Explain. And together with founders Fedde Le Grand Funkerman and Raf, they are still going strong!
Now the Flamingo sound is travelling the world again with the Flamingo Nights. Since the beginning of the concept in 2007, cities as Amsterdam, Miami, Melbourne, Perth, and Frankfurt have been witness of the excitement, and the Flamingo Nights @ Bloomingdale in 2008 with superstar Moby has already been discribed as legendary.
On sunday the 21st of June the musical carnaval will return to Bloemendaal, hosting the kick-off of the dutch summerseason in Bloomingdale aan Zee. Ofcourse Fedde Le Grand and Funkerman will be there, bringing the sound of Flamingo like nobody can.
Fedde Le Grand will interrupt his OUTPUT album world tour specially for this exclusive Flamingo Nights at the beach. This will be one of the few spare moments you can see the man in such an intimate setting.
Funkerman currently in the charts with his remake of Re-United – Sun is Shining (Funkerman remix), will provide you with the ultimate summer feeling. His sexy, funky and plain cool sound is simply perfect for an exclusive night at beach.
Fedde and Funkerman will again be accompanied by the national and international guest djs. No other than DJ Sneak will be the headliner of this evening. DJ Sneak is one of the big names from the early days of house music, and has always been an innovator of the scene. Combining disco, house and salsa has left him with a unique sound, played by nobody else. So grab this opportunity to see the master.
Regular guest Patric la Funk will be part of this edition in Bloomingdale Aan Zee too. The boy wonder from Germany keeps conquering harts every he comes with his deep melodic style.
New dutch talents Bjorn Wolf and Johnstar prove to be up to the challenge. Releasing one track and remix after the other. gaining more ground on the international level each day. Watch out for these guys cause they're coming up fast.
Live performances will be given by Mitch Crown and Andy & Dorothy Sherman. Mitch Crown provided the excellent vocals and lyrics for "Scared of Me", the first single of Fedde's album OUTPUT. He will show that he is not only a gifted man in the studio, but also monster vocalist on stage.

THE PINK FLAMINGO SET TO LAND IN MIAMI
They rocked it in 2008 – now Flamingo Nights returns to the Miami WMC with a 2009 line-up that floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee – in other words, heavyweight!
Leading the charge of the pink flamingos are Fedde Le Grand and Funkerman, two thirds of the creative brains behind this massively successful dance music imprint. Fedde is of course one of the most talked-about DJs of our time, the man who re-invented Detroit for a new generation and who continues to blaze a trail between the worlds of underground house and commercial chart territory. Funkerman is the production wizard behind such huge tracks as Remember and Speed Up. On March 25th these Dutch sensations will take over the legendary venue Set with a full arsenal of tuneage that should have even the most seasoned clubber in a state of house delirium.
"I'm incredibly excited to bring the Flamingo Nights party back to Miami for a second year running” said Fedde. “Last time we came here, it was one of the best parties we’ve ever thrown. Everyone was up for a huge night, the atmosphere was just something else and we all came away with our minds blown. Joining Fedde and Funkerman are Tocadisco, Patric la Funk and rising star Hardwell. Tocasdisco needs no introduction, his remix work taking in the likes of Mylo, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Axwell & Ingrosso, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, the Egg, Deep Dish, Linus Love, The Crystal Method, to name just a few!
